Finally, a stylish Brooklyn hotel that is in easy reach of Manhattan, but with all the benefits of the outer borough, including lower prices – NU Hotel.
It’s the first sleek boutique hotel in downtown Brooklyn.
A smart 93-room hotel across the East River, convenient to more than a dozen subway lines but less expensive than comparable lodgings in Manhattan.
Nu occupies the first four floors of a recently constructed condo building at the corner of Smith Street, known for the Michelin-starred Saul and dozens of other worthwhile restaurants, and Atlantic Avenue, one of the most interesting shopping streets in the city.
Th rooms have painted white walls, the chairs are chrome and leather, there’s a single framed photograph for decoration. The window had a roll-down blackout shade which makes it real dark at night.
Price: fr. $129 per double room/nigth
